"Don't just talk about it, Be about it"

"Don't just talk about it, Be about it"

Yesterday I was catching up on The Real, Tamera Mowry-Howsley and her family are dealing with something very tragic. Her husbands niece was shot in a mass shooting about 2 weeks ago. Something Tamera said that caught me was "Don't just talk about it, Be about it". There is no sense in us complaining and talking about things that upset us but we don't take action.

It could be about your relationship, drugs in your community, prostitution, human trafficking, fraud, it could also be about woman empowerment- anything. If you are going to talk about it then do something to help your community grow and be better. People may laugh at you and not take you serious, some may not even listen to what you have to say but at least you taking a stand to do something that is right not only for you but for the generation after us. It all starts with us to make CHANGES.  You can start small, just in your community. Use you social media platforms, go door to door speaking to people for change. You would be amazed by how many people you will find that agree with you and want to see the change.

Quote by Mahatma Gandhi: “Be the change that you wish to see in the world.”

Hebrews 13:16

Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God

Gossip Dies when it hits a wise person's ears

I always worried about what people said, I was always insecure. I think I started feeling like this from a very early age. In high school it was even worse. Lot's of girl's in school never liked me, so I always had a wall built up. I was gossiped about so many times. I will never forget the day I found out I was pregnant, I was still in school, I confided in a close friend- I should of never have done that because before I knew it, it was out. I was laughed at, I was mocked at and I believe that a lot of those people including some family members thought I will not make anything of myself because I "RUINED" my life.. I showed all of them that nothing will bring me down and up till this day I keep on shining no matter what life throws at me. Even me not been married at my age get's talked about- mainly by woman who are married. I have no clue why some married woman feel the need to look down on us single woman (we not interested in stealing your man, so what then.…

Never take a good woman for granted.....

Never take a good woman for granted...
Men are quicker to move on, but usually live in regret. Woman usually take nonsense on; repeatedly and never think they are able to leave but once they do they go for good. When a woman says Enough is Enough, she will never change her mind. We are forgiving and patient. We are forgiving up to a certain extent. Never taker "her" patience for granted (once she is tired there is no way she will turn back). We take on a lot of terrible treatment from our people before we can actually stand on our feet and say this is ENOUGH.

A woman's tolerance can only go up to a certain extent. Some of us woman do not want to bear the embarrassment from family and friends for telling them our struggles. We do not want people to tell us when the time is right to leave. We will reach that stage on our own and know when the time is right. Men have to constantly stay on top of their game to make sure she is the Queen in their lives and she does get treated…

What was my biggest challenge for having my own business..

What was my biggest challenge for having my own business..
My biggest challenge for wanting to have my own business was having an unsupportive partner, having a full time job and been a mother of 3…
In 2018 I needed to take charge of my life again, one step at a time..
1st was letting go of my partner, then I finally started doing things that I loved, like starting my small business- selling cars, also selling a weight loss product and then also starting my blog… it was still challenging for me to juggle everything because my full time job took most of my time, coming home and been attentive to my kids was important to me but I had to also make sure to make extra cash so that they are always comfortable.
Beginning of 2019 I was approached by one of my dear friends Dominic Carrim about an exciting opportunity…
She told me about it and I was hesitant and told her that I heard about Nuskin and I am not really interested (she was persistent and told me Chantal I know this is for you ;take…
